What We Collect

When you use MakeMeA, we collect:

• Google account info — your name, email, and profile picture when you sign in with Google.
• Photos you upload — the images you submit for style transfers.
• Payment info — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• Usage data — basic analytics like pages visited, transforms completed, and device/browser info.
• Beta reservations — your email, selected offer, intended sticker-pack subject, and optional example phrase when you reserve a Reaction Pack beta spot. The smoke test does not collect a photo.

How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate your account and manage purchases.
• To process your photo transforms via AI.
• To handle payments and send receipts.
• To improve the service and fix bugs.
• To communicate with you about your account (if needed).
• To measure interest in the Reaction Pack beta and invite reservation holders if we launch it.

Beta Reservation Retention

Reaction Pack beta reservation records are retained for up to 90 days, then expire automatically. A reservation is not an order, and no payment or photo is collected during this test.

Photo Storage & Retention

Uploaded photos are processed in real-time and automatically deleted within 24 hours of your transform completing. We do not keep a permanent library of your photos. Transformed results are available for download during your session but are not stored long-term on our servers.

Cookies

We use:

• Essential cookies — to keep you signed in and remember your session.
• Analytics cookies — to understand how the site is used (e.g., page views, popular styles). These are anonymized.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Third-Party Services

We share data with these services only as needed to operate MakeMeA:

• Google OAuth — for sign-in. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• OpenAI API — to generate style transfers. Your photos are sent to OpenAI for processing. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
• Stripe — for payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
• Know what data we've collected about you.
• Opt out of the sale of your data (we don't sell your data, but you still have this right).
• Request a portable copy of your data.

Data Security

We use HTTPS everywhere, encrypt data at rest, and limit access to personal data to those who need it. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

MakeMeA is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here with a new "last updated" date.
